Band students are exposed to a wide variety of music cultures and styles. Under Mr. Wilson's guidance, students explore/perform a diverse range of musical styles such as: Hip-hop, R&B, Rock, Spirituals, Jazz, and Classical literature. Students explore cultural influences such as: American, Japanese, Spanish, Russian, Puerto Rican, Irish and African. Band members have numerous opportunities to perform, whether as part of a full ensemble, solos, duets, or trios. Mr. Wilson has proudly led students to participate in the MNPS Honor Band for two consecutive years.
