Fine Arts Conservatories

Creswell's Art Conservatory classes consist of Band, Chorus, Dance, Recording Studio, Piano, Theater, and Visual Art. Students are encouraged to enroll in two art classes and each class lasts the entire school year. We use an A/B day schedule, so students go to one art each day.

Our Arts department often offers after-school clubs as well, some of which include a recording studio, technical theater, African drumming, and yearbook. There are also many opportunities throughout the year fostudents to compete and showcase their talents at our school as well as other venues in our community.

Currently, Creswell student artwork is exhibited at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum's Taylor Swift Education Center titled, Breathe in Deep. Sing out Loud!

To create Breathe in Deep. Sing out Loud!, eighth-grade students collaborated with music therapist and songwriter Kyshona and visual artist Elisheba Israel Mrozik, combining music and visual art into audiovisual expression. During a group songwriting session with Kyshona, the class then co-wrote the exhibit’s companion song, “It’s Ok.” Mrozik watched that collaboration unfold in real-time and began sketches of an original piece of art that visually represented “It’s Ok.”
